Zack of All Trades
Fifteen years on the tools
One person, based in Lakewood, covering the Denver metro. Licensed and insured, and the same person on the estimate and the job.

Who shows up
Hi, I’m Zack.
I’ve been doing handyman and construction work for fifteen years, the last seven of them running this business out of Lakewood. When you call, you get me — not a dispatcher, not a rotating crew.
Most of what I do is the accumulated list — a door that won’t latch, a running toilet, drywall that needs patching, a shelf that needs hanging, blinds that need mounting. Individually none of it justifies calling a contractor. Together it’s a day’s work and a house that finally functions.

The Mission
Planet improvement, one property at a time.
Keeping what you already own working and worth keeping — repairing rather than replacing where it makes sense, using greener products where the job allows, and sorting waste for recycling instead of tipping it all into a landfill.
The Commitment
Straight answers, before any money changes hands.
I’ll tell you what your job actually needs, including when that’s less than you asked for. You get that before any money changes hands, not after.
Where I work
Lakewood-based, out across the metro most weeks.
Out most weeks in Lakewood, Golden, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Littleton, and Centennial, across 13 Denver metro towns in all. Don’t see your neighborhood? Call me — I likely cover it.
The terms
I don’t charge for drive time and I don’t mark up materials — if I pick up a $40 faucet, you pay $40 for the faucet. The phone is answered around the clock, and evenings and weekends are working hours too, because not everyone can take a weekday off to meet a contractor and emergencies don’t wait for business hours. Senior, veteran, and first responder discounts apply to anything I do.
Scope
Licensed, insured, and particular about scope.
I’m licensed and insured, and particular about scope. Plumbing and electrical carry their own separate state licenses in Colorado, so on those two I stay on the fixture side of the line — swapping a faucet, a light, or a fan where the connection already exists. The full boundary is written out on the fixture replacement page.
Painting runs the whole range here: finishing a wall after a patch, one room, trim and doors, and full interior and exterior repaints. For years the bigger jobs ran through Good Vibes Painting, my painting company — that business is on hold, so it’s all one door now. Same hands either way.
