Zack of All Trades is a handyman and home repair business based in Lakewood, CO, serving homeowners across the Denver metro. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean Zack of All Trades — a one-person business. You can reach us any time at zackalltrades@gmail.com or (720) 441-4644.

This policy covers the information we collect through our website at zackofalltrades.biz and any related interactions you have with us by phone or email.

Information you give us through the quote form. When you request a free estimate, we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), the service you’re interested in, and any details you add in the message field. You can also attach up to three photos of the work. We only ask for what we need to get back to you and scope the job.

Information you give us by phone or email. If you call or email us directly, we keep a record of that conversation and the details you share so we can follow up and service your project.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, basic technical information is collected by our analytics providers — things like your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the site that referred you. We use this to understand what content is helpful, fix what isn’t, and measure our page speed.

The short version: we use your information to respond to your quote, schedule and complete your project, and improve the website. Specifically we use it to:

• Reply to your quote request and send you an estimate.
• Schedule visits, answer questions, and coordinate the work.
• Send invoices, receipts, and project updates if you hire us.
• Understand how visitors find and use the site.
• Follow up after the work is done — warranty questions, callbacks, or a future repair.

We do not sell your personal information. We don’t send marketing emails unless you specifically ask us to.

A handful of third-party tools help us run the site. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics 4 — measures site traffic and how visitors navigate between pages. Uses cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Analytics — first-party, cookieless page-view analytics from our hosting provider. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Speed Insights — anonymous performance metrics (load time, interactivity) from real visitor browsers. Same Vercel policy applies.
• Resend — delivers the emails sent when you submit the form: the notification to us and your confirmation copy. Everything you typed into the form passes through Resend. See Resend’s Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Blob — stores any photos you attach to the form. Uploads go from your browser straight to Blob storage. Note that stored files sit at unlisted public URLs — the address is random and not indexed anywhere, but anyone holding the exact link could open the file. Don’t attach photos containing documents, screens, or anything else you wouldn’t want seen.
• Upstash Redis — rate-limits form submissions to block spam. It briefly records the IP address a submission came from, and nothing else.
• Twilio — sends a text alert so a new request isn’t missed. When enabled, your name, phone number, and the service you selected are passed to Twilio. See Twilio’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Ads — when we’re running paid search, this measures which ads lead to an estimate request. It sets conversion-linker cookies. Covered by the same Google Privacy Policy linked above.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your browser. Google Analytics sets a few first-party cookies to tell returning visitors apart from new ones and to stitch pageviews into sessions.

When we’re running paid search ads, Google Ads also sets conversion-linker cookies so we can tell which ad led to an estimate request. That is measurement, not retargeting — we don’t build advertising audiences, we don’t follow you around other websites, and we don’t share your information with advertisers. Outside of those two, we don’t set tracking cookies of our own.

You can clear or block cookies from your browser’s settings at any time. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting and private/incognito modes. Browser-level ad blockers (like uBlock Origin or Brave’s built-in shields) will also block Google Analytics entirely.

We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as we need to service the project, plus a reasonable period after in case you have follow-up questions, warranty claims, or want to hire us again. If you never hire us, we still keep the request so we don’t pester you with a duplicate outreach if you come back later.

Photos you attach are kept as long as the estimate or job they relate to. Ask and we’ll delete them sooner — that removes the stored file and the link to it.

Analytics data is retained according to the defaults set in our Google Analytics configuration, which we can adjust on request.

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• See what personal information we have about you.
• Correct anything that’s wrong.
• Delete your information from our records (outside of anything we’re legally required to keep).
• Stop contacting you.

Email zackalltrades@gmail.com with your request and we’ll get back to you within a few business days. You don’t have to explain why.

This site is directed at adult homeowners and businesses. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email zackalltrades@gmail.com and we’ll delete it.

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we’ll also post a notice on the home page or email anyone with an active project at the time.
